Historic Ray Jones のブーツ

またまたお客様にお預かりしているブーツです。
テキサスAustinの北西１７マイルの　Lampasasに１９７７年まで
かつて製作していたレイ・ジョーンズのペアです。

　

今夜の私の住む新潟はひどい天気です。夕方の６時時点では積雪が
無かったのに帰宅時の１１時半は多いところで１０センチもの
積雪それに加えての強風ひどい天気ですが、スノーシューを経験した
おかげで楽しかったりして？

ところで、ブーツですがブーツトップ、フットともにかなりしっかりした牛革を
使用しています。

　

このメーカーの特徴はトゥのスティッチパターンで、フロントおよび
バックのタングでもすぐにそれと認識することができます。

　

　

本国ではレイ・ジョーンズを説明する時に一部では不恰好な、洗練されて
いないなどと言われる一方、派手さはないが妥協しない優美な完全主義
を貫いたブーツと高く評価されているようです。

　

よく使い込まれていますが、細部にいたるまで特徴を持っているブーツだと
思います。

　

トップには依頼者のイニシャルが入っています。

このような高く評価されるブーツはいつもコレクターの垂涎の的です。
次回はハイエンドなブーツではなくロゥエンドなブーツの予定です。

恥ずかしながら、このメーカーのことは知りませんでした。個人的には好きなタイプですね。
